Bassem is a composer and producer whose musical instincts were shaped long before the studio — at the piano bench, at age 10, writing his first piece after just a year of playing.

Over the next eight years, he moved fluidly between classical training, live performance with rock bands, and scoring for independent film — building a voice that refused to stay in one lane. In 2013, he founded his own studio, focusing on composition for film and media.

His work gained early recognition when his score for Colored Black helped the Egyptian short film earn acclaim at major local festivals. In 2015, he took home Best Score at the 48 Hours Film Project for Blade Rollette. His commercial work spans global brands including Nestlé Nido, Huawei, Unilever, Orascom, Beity, and Vimto.
